Sea World
Backing up to a few weeks ago... we visited Sea World for the first time. It was really fun. I can be a party pooper when it comes to theme parks, but for my kids I think I just might be able to get into it. Makenzie is their cousin, and she LOVES helping me out especially with Vera June. I think she is going to have to come up for a summer visit ;)

We Click
This week is the Grazier Photography We Click Retreat in VT. We were happy to be able to join the gang for one day and very sad to leave. This year we chickened out at the thought of leaving our 2 little ones behind for 4 days. Next year we are SO there. I can' say enough about all of these wonderful couple photographers, and instead of trying to put my thoughts together in my own words I will quote the "We Click" mug that Enna and Matt designed for the gang...

Meet the cousins
Part 2 - We made it to Florida in record time and more love for road trips. Eldon had a rockin' time with Logan who is almost his same age. Can you say BFF? They were freakin' adorable with one another! There are more from FL to come, so stay tuned for Sea World and our 1st Communion sessions with Blake and Makenzie.

Road Trip 2009
So we took off on our first major road trip to Florida for winter break. We were away for 10 days, spent over 40 hours in the car, and saw lots of friends and family. Part 1 - We arrived in NC to visit Harry, Darlene, and Kristi. We arrived bright and early at 5:45 in the morning and Aunt Darlene was ready with delicious coffee cake, fresh fruit, and most importantly hot coffee. It was heaven. Our next stop was Savannah, one of our favorite cities. We visited B&D Burgers for the 3rd time. And we finally got in at the Lady and Sons. It was worth the wait! Here are a few images. There are so many it is ridicules to choose, but I'll give it a shot...

Special Day
This morning I called my friends Heather and Jon to talk about their prenatal session. Jon's mom answered the phone with their good news. Baby James had arrived! I raced to the Birth Center to find the beautiful new baby who had been born less than 3 hours prior. What a gift to be able to photograph this amazing occasion in the very room that I birthed my two babies. As you might imagine I was wee bit emotional.

We're in the Knot
Last year we photographed a fabulous wedding at the Bourne Mansion in Oakdale, New York. Kellie and Lorenzo were so much to fun to work with. They even met us in Las Vegas for their E session. We knew their wedding was going to be amazing. The Knot Magazine thought so too. Their wedding story is featured in the spring summer 2009 issue that hit the shelves yesterday. There are 9 Sherrell Photography images in their spread... WOOHOO! We've shared some clips from the magazine as well as some of our faves from Kellie and Lorenzo's awesome day to celebrate. Enjoy!!
