Annelise's Prom
Last night was the Manchester Essex HS Prom. In tradition the beautifully dressed students met at Tuck's Point for photographs, and I went down to meet my cousin Annelise and her friends for some fun photo ops. Her dress was Laundry by Shelli Segal; her hair was styled by Angie at West End Salon, Gloucester; and her makeup was done by Jackie at Forever Young, Manchester, MA. They all did a fabulous job!
Annelise's friends are all such sweethearts.
Annelise, we love you and we are so happy you had a wonderful safe night! xo tabitha

Us
We were down on Long Island last weekend, and my mom June Jacobsen did a little photo shoot of Larry and I. Here is one of our faves and will be our photo on www.sherrellphoto.com If you haven't seen our site in a while check it out. There is so much to see! And definitely check out my moms site too. Especially the gallery "June's Kids".

Baby Brooke
Our friends and wedding clients Tara and Jay, have a 10 month baby girl named Brooke. I met her yesterday, and she was a perfect little model. I am finding a trend in babies who decide not to nap on their portrait session day. I think it actually pays off! She was so great for me. I loved catching up with all of them, and can not wait to share the pictures. Here is a sneak peak...

Karma - Little Star
On Saturday night I photographed an adorable baby boy named Karma. Our good friends Susan and Brian connected us with them, and afterwards we all had dinner and shared newborn stories. It was a lot of fun. They were so tender and loving with Karma. They told me it means little star in Tibetan. Precious.
Enjoy.

For The Love Of Science
I always loved science in high school..... however I never really excelled in that area hence my current profession. That's why I was totally psyched to do some commercial work for a local lab called Enzymatics. I'm still not certain on what they manufacture over there, but is was really cool to be in the lab setting and get to watch them running some experiments. I can't say I walked away any smarter after the shoot, but I did however walk away with a rash running all of the way up my arm and the left side of my neck. Just kidding :) -Larry

Angelo & Lisa
I had a great time with these two at their wedding. I have to admit, this was the first one for the 2008 wedding season for me and I was a little nervous.... but it did not take long for me to get back into the swing of things. Angelo and Lisa are so easy going and cool that it made my job that much easier. Thanks you two. -Larry

Norge, Her Kommer Vi!
We just received a package from my moms cousins Per Inge and Bjorg who live in beautiful Norway. Bjorg hand knit 3 sweaters and 2 pairs of socks for us. Here you will see Eldon and Vera June modeling them. We will cherish them forever! And they shared wonderful news; their daughter Helene is getting married next summer, and they invited us to come photograph the big day!! We are so there! We have been trying to make sense out of visiting Norway with 2 young ones, and now we have a good cause. Now it is time to learn Norwegian. Yikes, its going to be challenge:)
Thank you Per Inge and Bjorg for the wonderful package. Eldon already dug into the delicious chocolates. We will be honored to photograph the wedding. Keep in touch!
