Viva Amore and Brides Across America
My friend and client Anita Dunn will be hosting this wonderful event at her bridal shop. See below for more details. She also mentioned that they are excepting gently used gowns. Give her a call if you think you might be able to help. I will be there with my camera... I can't wait!

Viva Amore Bridal Salon is joining Brides Across America to honor Military personnel who have served in Iraq, Afghanistan, or whose fiances are on active duty with free gowns.
"With the economy at its lowest and military couples are struggling to afford a wedding, it is important that we come together to show our appreciation for their brave service and commitment to our country," said Heidi Janson, founder of Brides Across America.
The event takes place from Nov. 10 to Nov. 13. To qualify, brides must be engaged, on active duty in the military, or have a fiancé on active duty in either Iraq or Afghanistan. All military brides must show ID, copy of deployment papers, orders or other qualifying proof.
Brides do not have to reside in the area where the giveaway is taking place. The event has limited amounts of gowns and is on a first come first-serve basis.
Viva Amore offers many high-end designer wedding gowns, including Amsale, Jim Hejlm, Reem Acra, Jasime and Watters. The shop owners, a mother and daughter duo, said they have a special place in their hearts for the charity because their son/brother is a Marine.
Brides Across America and its partners have given more than 1,500 wedding gowns nationwide since its inception.
For more information about the event, call Viva Amore at 617-924-4600.

So Angie how old is that little pea in the pod now? I am so sorry! I have been wanting to share these on the blog for so long. I think my diligent posts happened right after this session. I can't wait to meet your new little one. Let's plan it!

Family time in Marblehead
For this family session we headed over to Fort Seawall in Marblehead. It will be their new hometown so it was apropos that we shoot there. I highlighted the images that are most true to a family session with little ones. The fun wild nature of it is my favorite part. I guess you can say it really resonates with the place I am in life and I totally connect. Oh... and of course there is the importance of mom and dad time!

Adam and Monique
You regulars may recall the engagement shoot I had done with Adam and Monique in their home, being who they are and what they like to do. The wedding was no different. These two were so amazingly chill and relaxed on their day, it put everyone at ease and it was nothing short of a great day! Congratulations you two!

Adam - class of 2010
For our Crane's Beach Senior Portrait session we had a blustery stormy night. I take this sort of day for portraits over any other. Minus the uncertainty of the session being a total wash of course. But for this night we were spared again and got these gorgeous clouds and colors. The scene suited Adam's chill persona perfectly. His sister jumped in a few too. How adorable is she!? What a fun night. Thanks guys! The rest will be ready to see soon.

Rachel's babies
Our dear friends Rachel and Mark had their baby boy just a week after this session. I loved capturing mommy and daughter frolicking together. It was understood that times were changing, but it was a joyful occasion for both. Big sister is already doing a wonderful job realizing there are two spotlights shining in the room.
We love you guys. Congratulations!

The Faris Family
This is our 3rd Autumn session together. Last year I was able to catch their new little one prenatal and this year out and already about! As I was editing our session I was... yes you guessed it... welling up because I absolutely love watching Noelle and Mike's family grow. We hiked all over Long Hill in Beverly. This spot is on the top of my list for favorite local locations. I haven't even uncovered all of the portrait possibilities! Enjoy this tiny sampling from our Autumn '09 portrait session.

Eldon and Vera June Fall '09
We already thought our kids were too darling for words, what parent doesn't? But then I put them in these coordinating plaid outfits from Pears and Bears, and we're beyond smitten! Larry and I teamed up to photograph them, and we are going to have to make an album. There are just too many to choose!
