Celebrating 10 years...
of Marital bliss and 10 years of Sherrell Photography! We decided to do a little photo shoot to commemorate these exciting achievements. We went to the same location in Beverly's Cemetery that we photographed ourselves 10 years ago. It was a hoot. Running back to the camera each time to check ourselves out and make sure we weren't looking too ridicules. Self timer is pretty sweet, but if we do it again we need a remote control shutter release! So this experience was so much fun we decided we want to help rekindle the spark for our past clients (and hopefully some new comers too) with an anniversary portrait promo. I mean how many of you still kiss? I hope you are all saying "uh... we do!" But if not this might do the trick. So here is the deal. New York NY and 85 degrees
A couple of weeks ago we went down to NYC with my mom. First we hit the Natural History Museum then enjoyed Central Park, the usual performers and rollerbladers, the merry-go-round, and a trip to F.A.O Schwartz. It was a blast! But... I definitely feel I'm more the country girl these days. I felt right at home with my dads chickens, and they liked me too! Thanks family for a fun weekend. Glad the weather could be so coopertive :)

Eldon is 4!
Last Saturday we celebrated Eldon's four fabulous years. We had a full house of vivacious children, creepy crawlers and slithering snakes. Brendan of Rainforest Reptiles brought along their amazing reptiles and lots of knowledge. I personally learned so much. I was thankful that Mr. Alligator had his mouth taped (gentle) before I held him. Our wonderful SCORE intern Alison Nitkiewicz photographed the day for us, and what a treat that was!

Amanda, Vinny and Jada
So last night I had a super e session. And I was so excited to share these; I even bypassed blogging pictures of me with my dads chickens, and I have been dying for you to see me holding Ms. Henny. Amanda and Vinny were so candid and relaxed. Their dog Jada was very chill and made me want a dog so badly. The night was incredible and Good Harbor Beach might be my new favorite spot.
Thanks guys! I can't wait for June 6th!!

Jenn & Scott do it again!
Our good friends renewed their vows to one another last Friday night in Southbury CT. We were so happy to be there for it. After all Larry and I were their photographers for their 1st wedding. On our way to NY we zipped over to catch the ceremony just in the nick of time. Jenn came down the stairs and was so excited to see us, which made us so thankful that we made it. Jenn and Scott - we love you and we are excited to be a part of your lives. Love and peace to you and your beautiful family!

Introducing Brooke Wilcox
Well many of you already know Brooke and know she has an incredible opera voice. She is a natural for the camera too. This is our second head shot session together, and we used my friend Kellie Cormier's Music Together room. What a perfect studio. Thanks again Kellie! and thank you Brooke.
